Kindergarten Palisades Park
Rules:
1. Follow Adult Directions Promptly
2. Use Kind Words and actions
3. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
4. Remain in your seat or area as directed.
5. Use quiet voices and talk only when allowed.
We expect all kindergarteners to follow directions and to do their best each day. So each day your child will start their day with a “Smile for the Day”. If they follow all the directions listed above they will be allowed to color in their smiley face at the end of the day. To monitor each child’s behavior each Kindergarten teacher uses a system of colors. If your child’s name is on green then they are doing their best and earning a “Smile for the Day”. However, for each time they chose not to follow the rules their color will be moved from green to warning 1 ( light green), to warning 2 (yellow) and then to warning 3 (red). If your child’s color is moved to red then they will spend time in a "Class Pass"a class passmmkk. All warnings will be recorded in your child's binder so you can encourage good choices and appropriate class behavior.
